Here is a familiar scenario that many of us have found ourselves in when it comes to accountability groups, whether involved in one now or in the past. It is your typical “men’s breakfast,” which is a good thing. However, doesn’t it seem like everyone always goes around the circle and says, “I’m doing good” or the classic, “been really busy,” or “I’m tired, pray for me that God would give me strength?”
The HOPE Campaign is a cry from normal men that says lets go deeper than this to get to the issues we are facing so that we can live a life of power and of victory - the power and the victory that has already been purchased for us. We are children of God, we have purpose, and God desires to use us for His glory. He is calling us to be strong men and examples for His Kingdom.
The HOPE Campaign is about striving for a greater level of openness and vulnerability within your own life, your men’s group, Bible study, college group, or faith community. It is about seeing God’s men achieve a higher level of purity in their own walks and then being an example within their communities and amongst their neighbors.
We must first know the love of God and the intimacy that He offers us for ourselves. We must be open, honest, and vulnerable with each other as we strive to walk in the victory that He has purchased for us. The HOPE Campaign started first as an idea and now has become a reality. We believe, and have learned, that settling for a life of on again/off again purity and victory is just not an option.
