We spoke with a young man in a red light district in Bangkok. Although he wasn't into the services being offered he told us that he fell into one encounter before. After meeting a cute girl in a bar and having a one night stand with her, the girl surprised him by asking money the next morning. After we spoke to him some more he seemed to be a confused individual, morally, spiritually and on a relational level. We talked about spirituality and he said that he wanted to take something of every religion and not be stuck to one. One of the reasons why was because of the hurt his family had received from Christians. Here was a very intelligent young man, but rather then using the right puzzle pieces of one puzzle he wanted to try to fit every puzzle piece of every puzzle he had ever encountered in his life together. I shared with him something I read about Bono from U2 that I believe made an impact and raised curiosity in him. I said that one of Bono's opinions about religion is that all religions seem to be the same with the exception of Christianity, because of the word GRACE. For a moment he was silent, then he said: I should look that up. I just handed him another puzzle piece, a key one, and we can only pray that God will give him the other pieces he needs to come to know Him and His love.
